The earth used by Earth House Australia to construct our Hydraform Laterite Bricks homes is usually derived from a by-product of quarries called scalpings, however, it is possible to incorporate recycled concrete or bricks to further save on our carbon footprint.

4. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT -Hydraform Laterite Bricks is a low embodied building material, which means it has a small carbon footprint. It can be totally recycled, which means it is a cradle to cradle material.

9. THERMAL MASS - Hydraform Laterite Bricks walls are a minimum of 300mm thick and upwards in 100mm increments. To add to the R-value of rammed earth, we can also insulate the walls if required.
